"So you want to know Who Is DigiDarla, do you? :)

DigiDarla is the brain child of Kim Eskola and her daughter Emilea.
Emilea and I both enjoy creating and when the idea of creating digital stamps came up, it sounded like the most wonderful way to earn ever! There was only one problem! We are both shy and dislike the center of attention! As a way of "hiding behind the scenes" and avoiding having one spokeswoman, DigiDarla was born!"
and

"I have been a crafter for as long as I can remember, I got it from my mother,(an amazing artist). I was a sissor papers scrapbooker since my first son was born in 1997 but in 2005 I fell head over heels for digital scrapbooking. I started teaching myself how to make my own papers and elemts soon after I switched over. In 2009 I opened my etsy shop using my papers and elements to make digital collage sheets for pendant makers. In 2010 I started taking graphic arts classes at a local collage and learned to use the "adobe suite" which has opened a whole new world to me."
Let's see what the DT has been up to this week.

"I am so excited to be able to share my art with you. Drawing has always been such a big part of my life. I am the proud mama of three girls and the happy wife to one fantastic husband. We are raising our family in the country along with our assortment of animals: A cow, (too many) chickens, a golden retriever, cat and a couple of goats. I love this life, and wouldn't change it for a second. My art is definitely a reflection of our animals and surroundings. (They are bound to pop up somewhere in my drawings) I hope you are inspired to create your own "works of art."

A word from the artist as worded from her website:
Hello, my name is Laurie.   I'm just a regular Joe crafter.  While trying to find digital images that met my own crafting needs, I decided to draw some of my own, as I had so many unique ideas that I just couldn’t locate elsewhere. I truly enjoy what I do and enjoy sharing the creativity that God has given me in the hopes it will inspire others to create too. I have a variety of doodling styles and I like to keep a diverse selection at hand.
I hope you enjoy creating to your hearts content with some of my doodles.  But if my images don't suit your personal tastes, I sincerely hope something here inspires you to go create something unique that then puts a smile on another's face.

South African crafters are new to the digital stamping world, with the first South African online digital image store launched in 2010 – Digistamps4Joy (or DS4J) http://www.digistamps4joy.co.za/eshop/ .  In May 2012, Margy Kieser took over ownership of DS4J, and there are now two South African artists who contribute to the more than 600 images available. Margy has taken the store to new heights and the store now stocks digis that are cute, whimsical, artistic, sometimes serious, and sometimes humorous. In addition, one of our own South African rubber stamp companies granted us permission for one range of rubber stamps to be converted into digistamp images. The store has PAYPAL, PAYFAST (South African) and EFT (South African) facilities.  Digistamps4Joy offers a monthly freebie on the first Friday of every month, and holds regular bi-weekly card challenges on our Blog (http://digistamps4joy-sa.blogspot.com ) that draw entries from many international card makers.
We (DS4J) are also active on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/DS4Joy) and Paper Craft Planet (http://www.papercraftplanet.com/group/digistamps4joy).

Guest Designer from Digi Stamps4Joy
"Hi, my name is Jackie Cornfield. I am a happily married mother of two and grandma of one. All girls and we adore them! I manage a craft shop and card making/papercraft is a massive passion of mine. I try to do it daily!
When Margy asked me to join the design team for Digistamps For Joy I cannot tell you how thrilled I was. Margy and the rest of my team mates have made it a very happy part of my life, just fabulous. And let's not forget how wonderful these digis are too..."
